THE NORTH YORKSHIRE LOCAL PLAN TIMETABLE
Part 1: Matters the plan will deal with
The matters that the plan will deal with include policy areas and the allocation and designation of sites including, but not limited to, the following thematic areas:
· Creating a prosperous economy
· Creating healthy and sustainable communities
· Achieving environmental resilience and achieving a high-quality environment
· Achieving high quality design
The plan will not deal with matters relating to minerals and waste as this will be the subject of a separate plan.
Part 2: The geographical area the plan will cover
The North Yorkshire Local Plan will cover the area of North Yorkshire but excludes the following areas that are covered under separate local plans:
· North York Moors National Park area; and
· Yorkshire Dales National Park area
Part 3: Supplementary plans to be prepared
At the time of adopting this timetable the authority has not committed to preparing any supplementary plans.
Part 4: Key milestone dates
These are set out in the tables below in accordance with the Regulations and the ‘Creating a plan timetable’ guidance note. There is a requirement to publish our data that is:
· on a webpage on our official planning authority’s website - which usually ends in gov.uk
· in a format that is clear and easy to understand; and
· with a statement that confirms the data is provided under the Open Government Licence
After the data is published it should also be provided to the Planning Data Platform in a specific form (dataset).
The below sets out how these may look, however, final appearance will be based on any further released guidance.
